Masaaki Matsuoka

Profile

Born in New York in 1987. After completing my graduate studies in architecture university in 2013, I currently work in an architectural design office. While engaged in architectural design, I began my work with photography seven years ago. When light plays across the texture of a material, the vibration transcends shape and acts together with our imaginations to spin new memories—a moment I call "MATERIALSCAPE." I have shown my work shot in Japan and overseas through photo books, solo exhibitions, and on the web.
